Heidi Latsky Dance Receives Grant From The Gerald and Janet Carrus Foundation

Heidi Latsky Dance

HLD has received a substantial grant to further the Disability Rights Movement, through dance and performance, with direct involvement with disabled people through the Artist In Residency Program of the Hurleyville Arts Centre in Sullivan County, New York.

The funding from this grant will be used for three different residencies at the Arts Centre during this coming summer, culminating with the premiere of the Arts Centre in the Fall of 2017. This generous support will also be the primary sponsorship for a season of Heidi’s work in NYC in 2018.

Heidi Latsky Dance participated in the inaugural celebrations of the Arts Centre last summer. Heidi Latsky stated, “We are happy and thankful that our relationship with Hurleyville is growing. Through the support of the Gerald and Janet Carrus Foundation we will continue to work together to change the world’s perspective of disabled people everywhere.”
